Day 1: Arrival in Leh & Mandatory Rest – Airport pickup, check-in, and full day of rest for acclimatisation to avoid Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing – Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and Hall of Fame museum to ease into gentle movement. Day 3: The Festival Day – Full day spent at Hemis Monastery (in June) or the Leh Polo Ground (in September) to witness the dances, processions, and vibrant crowds. Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La – Drive over one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Explore the Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel ride. Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso – Travel via the scenic Shyok route directly to the breathtaking, color-changing Pangong Lake. Overnight stay in a lakeside luxury camp/cottage. Day 6: Pangong Tso back to Leh – Drive back via Chang La pass. En-route stops at Thiksey Monastery or Shey Palace. Day 7: Sham Valley Excursion – Day trip to see the Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and the Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers (Sangam). Day 8: Departure – Transfer to Leh Airport.
